Peach Cake 🍑 Ingredients: • 1 1/2 cups flour • 1 cup sugar • 1/2 cup butter at room temperature • 4 eggs • Zest of half a lemon • 1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract • 2 1/4 cups or 3 large peaches, peeled and diced • A pinch of salt • Powdered sugar for garnish • Peach pieces for garnish Instructions: 1. Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F) and grease a cake pan. 2. In a large bowl, beat the butter and sugar until creamy. 3. Add the eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. 4. Stir in the vanilla extract and lemon zest. 5. In another bowl, mix the flour, baking powder, and salt. 6. Add the dry ingredients to the butter mixture, gradually mixing until well combined. 7. Add the chopped peaches and mix gently. 8. Pour the mixture into the pan and bake for 40 to 45 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean. 9. Let cool before removing from the pan. 10. Once cooled, sprinkle powdered sugar on top of the cake and decorate with peach pieces.
