In this video, we show you a project that was a real challenge from the very beginning. The original roof was made of curved tiles laid with mortar on a concrete slab and was so deteriorated that the client had been suffering from leaks for years. There was no way to repair it piecemeal: the entire roof had to be removed and completely renovated. The first step was to remove all the tiles. We did this using large, self-propelled cranes from the street, allowing us to lower all the debris directly into the container without making a mess or damaging anything in the surrounding area. This type of tile removal with a crane is crucial when the roof is badly damaged because it allows us to work quickly and safely. Once the entire roof was clean, we installed the leveling omega profiles on the slab, preparing the base to receive the new system. And here's the most striking aspect of this project: the installation of a single, continuous, 10-meter-long tile-effect sandwich panel, without any seams or joints between panels. This can't be done with a small crane: you need precision, power, and a lot of experience to lift a 10-meter panel without it bending or breaking under the weight. Then we installed all the lacquered sheet metal finishing pieces: ridge caps, side caps, valleys, and junctions. Everything was cut to size, fitted, and sealed to leave the roof completely finished, waterproof, and ready for many years of trouble-free use.
