What could be the reason? 1) The most common - The contact of the battery with the controller is broken (first of all, check the pins into which the battery is inserted. Sometimes, it is enough to move the outer pins outward by half a millimeter and ... the battery works fine again. 2) Check the contact in the connection of the wire from the controller to the motor wheel (remove and insert) waterproof connector with 8 pins. Moreover, it is important to check whether it is inserted correctly (the arrows on both parts of the plug should match - be opposite each other). 3) Try to turn on the power button again (on the gas handle, or on the display and battery) and try to drive at low speed. It is possible that the battery is already discharged and cannot supply current that provides a large load (and the controller simply disconnects the battery, since it cannot supply the required current). In this case, either - we continue driving at low speed, or - recharge the battery. 4) Try to cool the controller - it may have overheated and the thermal protection has worked. *** The battery does not take a charge. 1) The charger is broken (if the fan inside the charger does not hum, or - the green light is constantly on - regardless of the voltage in the battery) 2) The BMS board in the battery is faulty (it needs to be replaced). 3) The contact with the charger is broken (the plug socket is melted). Re-solder the contacts (replace the plug). *** The motor-wheel stops working at a speed of 20 km/h. 1) You need to go to the controller settings through the display menu and change the maximum motor speed. *** The assistance mode (PAS) stopped working 1) Inspect the carriage assembly and adjust the gap between the reed switch located on the steel bracket and the plastic circle with built-in magnets. *** The motor-wheel hums (makes an unusual sound). 1) Try retraining the controller. In 70% of cases, this helps! Retraining consists of short-circuiting the training connectors for 3 seconds with the network on (they are single - white or yellow, with a connector at the end that is inserted into each other). A 3-second connection of these connectors can eliminate the hum, change the voltage 36/48 or the direction of movement of the motor-wheel. 2) If retraining did not help - open the motor cover and look at the condition of the plastic gears. If they are worn out - change them and re-apply special silicone grease. 3) If there are no problems with the gears, then most likely your magnets have come unstuck. They need to be very carefully glued with a two-component compound (glue for metal). It is important that the glue layer is the same as it was before the repair. Optimally - number the magnets, clean them and carefully put them in the same places on the glue. 4) Check the condition of the cable coming out of the motor-wheel. Perhaps it is damaged. Measure the voltage on the Hall sensors. If necessary - they are replaced. This is a very labor-intensive and painstaking job, since new sensors need not only to be placed in their place, but also fixed with compound. Before this, the burnt sensors must be very carefully removed. Then we restore the integrity of the cable and seal the cover. There may be other reasons why your electric bike does not work (the controller or throttle handle is broken) - but they happen extremely rarely.
