It posed a major dilemma for not only one of the major antagonists but also the game itself which had been setting up for the finale where all 7 Gnoses were collected in one place by one person. The new devs have now come up with a solution. Somehow Pantalone or Dottore snatched the Pyro Gnosis after Nahida activated it. This of course only happened because Mavuika gave the Gnosis to the Traveler and that only happened because the story erected a giant nation spanning barrier around Sumeru that prevented anyone from outside (except Nicole and Nefer and the Fatui) from interfering in the plot. What this does of course is make Mavuika go from important Archon character into simple cameo and she's now also the first and only Archon to lose her Gnosis by circumstance rather than by intention. Natlan's gotten the short end of the competence stick under this dev team. Anyway, we finally got some action in this episode and the chessboard thing was interesting. The Pantalone section felt like the devs trying to speedrun his character development since he's so late to the party. Ok next time we'll wrap this up and then we're done with this.
