You'd think the massive surge in jinn activity would have taken her attention away from one random and previously visited ruin. Anyway then we got Nicole's introduction plus of course Nefer again but Nefer seems to have been hit with some amnesia since she forgot that she still considered herself a desert dweller and wanted the best for the desert. You know, when she took in Ashvapati and waited for him to come out with his tale of woe so that she could help him with her vast network. Suddenly she hates Sumeru again and never thought she'd ever want to help it. Also Nicole states that she's an angel which is not the same as a god then goes on to tell Collei that the GOD remains inside of her are the remains of the ANGEL Nabu. Something must be in the water over in Nod-Krai. O I know! It must be the stock of memory erasing fire that Dottore sampled from Arlecchino. (gotta love how I'm constantly needing to fill in the gaps for these guys and yet they are not going to bring this up either haha) O and one last thing. Time is the answer to all 3 of Thoth's questions. You know time right? The very thing we've known for years was what Deshret was trying to control so he could bring back Nabu? And to make humanity no longer suffer from age so he created the simulated reality of the Golden Slumber? Thoth actually brings this all up himself! Imagine the codeword that will free you from thousands of years of imprisonment and it's the most obvious word in the world to you since you've been directly helping the guy obsessed with it. Is something in the water in Aaru too? (So the real answer should have been pride. They go over that so much too it's hilarious the devs didn't realize that was the more appropriate answer. See Thoth wouldn't have guessed it himself because he and Deshret and all of them were held back by their pride. It's the obvious answer that legitimately would have eluded all of them, their Achille's Heel.)
