Competitor's Course: Snatch Warm-Up
Eric O’Connor (CF-L4) walks a group of participants at a CrossFit Level 1 Certificate Course through an effective warm-up for the snatch. O’Connor sets up with feet shoulder-width apart and hands in a narrow grip on a PVC pipe. Demonstrating how to push the hips back, he says, "From here, bow to me." He then goes through a series of movements to warm up the shoulders and hips, practice foot work and find proper overhead positioning.
