ESCAPING to NEWCASTLE...AND WE DIDN'T EXPECT THIS! WEEKEND CITY BREAK

This week we down tools, abandon Daisy the van (we'll be back love, don't worry!) and the err, comforts of our campsite, and head off to the North Eastern city of Newcastle, where we were surprised in more ways than one at what this vast melting pot of culture, architecture and history has to offer. And in the process, we treat ourselves to a normal bed, four walls and running water for once. Ah, we can almost smell that normal life in a house on the horizon...whether the smell is good or bad, only time will tell, but let's enjoy this little taster while we can, shall we?
