Today’s run was a special one. I headed out for a run/walk interval session in honour of Olympian Jeff Galloway, the pioneer of “jeffing,” who sadly passed away this week. On this run, I’m breaking down exactly what jeffing is and why I use it on all my long runs. It’s not about stopping because you have to. It’s about walking on purpose. By adding planned walk breaks from the start, I conserve energy, reduce fatigue, and actually run stronger for longer.
