Norber Erratics from Austwick, Clapham, North Yorkshire National Park
Starting our walk from Austwick we parked just before reaching the village green. Our route took us up to Norber Erratics, then Nappa Scar, Crummack Lane and on to Wharfe before returning back to Austwick and a delightful village store for a drink. The Erratic borders has to be the highlight of all recent walks. Not only did I try out a new camera, but the spectacular views were awesome. The massive boulders of sandstone and slate perched on pinnacles were a geological feature stemming back to the glacier age leaving. Mostly on the southern slopes of Ingleborough. The warm clear weather enhanced our experience not forgetting the farmland and wildlife events taking place along the way. Shifting Sands music track https://shanitalee.bandcamp.com/track...
