Countryside Cooking in the Netherlands 🇳🇱 | Italian Feast & Farm Life

I drove out to the Dutch countryside for a cozy get-together with friends, and it turned into such a special experience. The owner of the farm taught us how to cook a full Italian meal from scratch — from fresh tagliatelle and rich tomato sauce to meatballs and tiramisu 🍝✨ We split into teams (I was on the salad team 🥗 — keeping it simple with cherry tomatoes and mozzarella), and worked together to prepare everything from start to finish. Along the way, we had some unexpected entertainment… the house cat was busy catching a mouse 🐱😅 Surrounded by nature, we could see sheep and cows in the distance, and even got close to a swan by the lake. As the sun started to set, we sat down to enjoy the meal we made together — authentic, homemade, and so rewarding. More than just cooking, it was about friendship, teamwork, and soaking in the beauty of the Dutch countryside 💛
