Hong Kong protesters held a Thanksgiving Day rally on Thursday night after U.S. President Donald Trump signed into law two bills aimed at supporting human rights in the semi-autonomous Chinese territory. Thousands gathered in the city centre, waving American flags as the U.S. national anthem played, with many pro-democracy protesters expressing their thanks to Congress and Trump for their support.
