We usually tell the story of Joseph as a rags-to-riches triumph — the faithful young man God lifts to the right hand of Pharaoh. But what if we've been reading it wrong? In this message from Genesis 39–41, we trace a stranger, more unsettling thread running through the text: a man who keeps descending into the pit, the prison, and the land of death — and a God whose ways are not our ways.
