How to make a stainless steel handrail column using TIG welding. 🔥Our course 👉https://bit.ly/CURSOTIGINOX" 🔥Our Instagram - https://bit.ly/AtainoxTutorial 🔥Our community - https://bit.ly/inoxidaveis 🔥Our Website - https://atainox.com/ 🔥My contact - https://bit.ly/Renivaldo -In this video I'll show you how I make a fully TIG welded column for a stainless steel handrail or guardrail! -I'll use 38mm tubing, which is a somewhat standard and universal tube for most stainless steel handrails, and you can see that there are many handrails with this measurement out there. -I'll assemble the column, weld it, finish the weld, and polish it so you can see how it will look. -And I'll use this stainless steel handrail column in my handrail showroom that I'm making this here at the company to show the clients. -Because I noticed that they arrive here wanting to see a finished handrail, like actually touching it and seeing what the handrails are like. Sometimes they aren't convinced just by photos, right? -But what will you need to make your stainless steel handrail column, that is, what I used in the video here? -To make the base, I used 3mm sheet metal that I got from scraps here because we do other work at the company, so we have scraps. But you can find ready-made stainless steel handrail bases online, okay? -I'm going to use 38.10mm or 1.1/2" OD polished tubing. Ideally, buy it already polished; it's easier to work with. -And also at the top end I weld a 2mm square plate and finish it on the tube itself, welding it together with a 1/2" or solid round stainless steel tube. -The 1/2" solid pin, which can also be a 1/2" OD tube, I weld to the plate to then make the connection with the support bar that goes over the column. This type of connection gives the handrail a more beautiful and lighter aesthetic. -I hope you like the video, and that I have managed to pass on this knowledge.
