In this video, I'll show you how to weld thin stainless steel sheets very simply with my stick-on inverter. There's no secret to welding thin stainless steel sheets with TIG. If your stainless steel is thin, just adjust the amperage and maintain a good hand speed continuously. Monitor the argon gas flow so it doesn't interrupt and damage the sheet. How to weld without warping? To perform a good TIG weld without warping, you need a base under the plate. The base absorbs some heat and prevents your plate from warping too much if your inverter doesn't lower the amperage enough.
