Zambot 3 '77, Super Robot Blueprint

1977's Zambot 3 was the fourth robot show produced by Sunrise, but the first which they fully maintained ownership of the intellectual property. As this was something of an experiment, its crew were given just under two dozen episodes to push some merchandise and maybe tell a story. This lead to a surprisingly tightly paced show, and one that had some truly heartfelt and affecting moments...but also an infamous show. Note the content warnings on this one.
