Sea Fishing Scotland - Fife - Anstruther Harbour - 3 Species, Bait Fishing

I started the day trying a new spot at Aberdour but didn’t have much luck, so decided to head along to Anstruther for the last couple of hours. There’s construction work going on at the harbour just now, as they’re building the new RNLI Lifeboat station. I was hoping that the noise wouldn’t be putting the fish off but didn’t have to wait long for the first bite. First up was a beautiful, bright Red Sea Scorpion. Followed shortly after by a Coalfish. After a bit of a wait on the next bite I managed to catch a good sized Flounder and another Coalie. I’ve had a few questions about using lugworm lately so I’ve included a few clips showing a couple of different ways to attach them to the hook. I had a few different baits with me, Mackerel, Sandeel, Razor Clams and Lugworm. I caught the Coalfish and Flounder on Lugworm, with the Sea Scorpion coming on a cocktail of Lug and Razor.
