How To Fix A Popping/Clicking DXRacer or Office Chair For Free! - 1 Minute Tutorial

This video is a straightforward tutorial to fix noisy Office/Herman Miller/AKracing/DXRacer etc chairs that are making a seriously loud popping/clicking/cracking noise when leaning back or rocking side to side. The fix is very quick and easy, completely free and is doable without any tools at all (although having a prying tool such as a knife/screwdriver/credit card helps). The cause of this is due to bumps being worn on the washers from the ball bearing(see in video), so simply flip the washers so the balls ride on the undamaged flat sides of the washers. Problem solved! There should be enough grease left over on the ball bearing (don't clean off the grease), if not, buy some! This should last another 2-3 years before the washers need to be completely replaced. The size for replacement washers are listed below, the smaller washer going on top of the bigger washer.
