Gorilla Jameela's Lazy Ride and Kayembe’s Tumbles 🦍

At the Cleveland Metroparks Zoo, every gorilla has their own way of spending the day — and this 20-minute video captures all their personalities in one fun visit. You’ll start with baby Jameela lounging comfortably on Fredrika’s back, looking as relaxed as can be while nibbling on a bit of lettuce. Then Kayembe takes center stage, tumbling across the habitat and pestering both Freddy and silverback Mokolo with his playful energy. Kunda shows off her growing acrobatic skills, while Jameela soon joins in — two young gorillas full of curiosity and balance! As the day winds down, our gentle Tusa enjoys a peaceful meal, reminding us that even in a busy troop, there’s always time for quiet moments.
