How did the Magyar state arise and where did their people originate? In this film, we embark on a fascinating journey through the ages, tracing the formation of Hungary—from the first settlers in the Carpathian Basin to the creation of its own principality. Through the lens of archaeology, linguistics, and chronicles, we show how these lands changed under the influence of Celts, Romans, Huns, Avars, Slavs—and finally, the Magyars. We reveal the origins of the Magyar ethnos, their migration from the Urals, the role of Álmoš and Árpád in founding the "Seven Magyars" confederation, the great military expeditions, and the rise of the state in Pannonia. Thanks to the strong will of their leaders and the adoption of Christianity, this nomadic community was able to transform into a major force in medieval Europe.
