Static Takeoff | Insel Air MD-80 Departing St. Maarten (SXM)

This was probably one of the loudest & longest static takeoff power ups I've ever captured on video. This was back in winter (JAN/FEB) of 2015 while I was on a trip to SXM. This Insel Air flight was late coming in and had delays with baording which is why they were departing at night. Sources that work at SXM told me the next day that the flight was right at the max takeoff wieght which judging by the video definitely seems like it. It's shame these guys aren't around anymore as they were a fan favorite at SXM for there loud takeoffs, low approaches, and sick departures.
