Proziaki combine both of these things and are also super tasty and easy to make! Proziaki are small breads from the Subcarpathian region made... in a pan, not in the oven, and with... baking soda (also known as prozie - hence the name), not yeast! They're a great quick alternative to bread if you forget to buy some or if you're just looking for a change to your morning scrambled eggs. I highly recommend them! Ingredients: 500 g all-purpose flour 250 ml buttermilk 1 teaspoon salt 1 teaspoon sugar 1 teaspoon baking soda Optional: 1 egg Mix the ingredients and knead the dough on a floured surface. Roll out the dough to about 1 cm thick and cut out circles, for example, using the rim of a glass. Fry in a medium-heat, heavy-bottomed pan for a few minutes on each side, without using any fat.
