West Lake in the Fakahatchee Strand

Deep in the jungle like environment of the Fakahatchee Strand lies a remote lake teeming with fish and alligators. There are no trails to this location, as with most of our hikes, we navigate our way carefully through flooded swamps and hammocks to explore new areas. The sounds you hear were dubbed in for effect and are not from the Fakahatchee. All video presented was filmed in the Fakahatchee Strand.
