Even as concerns over poaching continue there are many men and women who risk leg and limb to keep wildlife protected yet their stories remain untold. In the backdrop of a recent report that blasted the Kenya Wildlife Service over its inability to contain the menace, our reporter Alex Kubasu spent time with some of these people in nguruman-laro-shompole conservancy. And as he found out in the first installment of rangers in danger, life is anything but rosy for the warders who face a constant threat of death and injuries.
