Revealed: The key contribution withheld from BAME coronavirus review
Last week we reported that Public Health England had published a report into why people from black and ethnic minority communities were disproportionately affected by Covid-19. (Subscribe: https://bit.ly/C4_News_Subscribe) But a key contribution by public health expert, Professor Kevin Fenton, himself black, was not published, leading to suggestions that it had been withheld by the government. Tonight the government says the intention was always to publish it separately next week.
