July 7, 2018 - Wheeling, WV - 2nd Alarm Church Fire

On July 7, 2018, the Wheeling Fire Department responded to a 2nd Alarm fire at a former church building in Wheeling, West Virginia. The building was being used as an occupied business, although the business was closed at the time of the fire. As conditions developed, the Wheeling Fire Department struck a 2nd Alarm, bringing a large response of engine companies, ladder companies, rescue personnel, squads, command officers, and mutual-aid units to the scene.
