Narrowboat blacking is one of the worst and most expensive jobs that comes with life in a tiny off grid floating home. And having raced across the country over the last month, it's time for us to haul our boat out of the water and get it sorted. But before we can crack out the paint, we have to get a survey done to check the condition of the hull... and unfortunately, it's not great news.
