Tren rápido en Israel

The high-speed train connects Jerusalem with Tel Aviv. The line was inaugurated in 2019, reducing travel time to just 34 minutes to cover the 60 km distance. The first station is Ben Gurion International Airport, which can be reached in just 22 minutes. It then continues to three stations within Tel Aviv, where you can connect to other lines to reach any destination in Israel. This line extends to the city of Hertzlia. This is the first electric train in Israel. The Jerusalem station is named Yitzchak Navon in honor of Israel's fifth president. It is a super convenient, comfortable, and quiet train with restrooms in all cars and power outlets for charging any electronic device. It reaches speeds of 160 km per hour. For the project, seven kilometers of bridges were built, including the highest railway bridge in Israel (95 meters) and the longest bridge in the country (1,250 meters). 38 km of tunnels were also excavated, and all work was carried out while preserving the landscape and protecting the environment.
