In Jerusalem, there's a neighborhood where time seems to have stood still, but the conflict is more alive than ever. I entered Mea Sharim to tell you a story that defies every stereotype and overturns everything we thought we knew. Here lives an ultra-Orthodox Jewish community that rejects modernity, smartphones, the internet, and any external distractions to dedicate their lives exclusively to the study of the Torah. But there's one thing that makes them unique, and for many, true "enemies in the homeland": their firm, radical, and absolute opposition to the State of Israel. For this new chapter of Human Sides, I wanted to walk their streets and look them in the eyes. I tried to understand what it means to live on the margins of one's own nation, to suffer daily marginalization, and to see loved ones leave, emigrating to avoid compromise. This is a journey into human contradictions. A new, incredible human side.
