A Bicycle Tour of Vancouver: How Is This a Real City?

Vancouver was not what I expected — it was better. In this bicycle tour of Vancouver, B.C., I set out with no agenda: just a bike, some curiosity, and a serious mission to find the best doughnuts in the city. Starting near Jericho Beach, I follow Vancouver's stunning waterfront trails and the famous Seawall toward Granville Island, Gastown, the West End, and Science World — separated bike lanes and blue water views practically the entire way. Along the way, I stop for legendary doughnuts at Lee's Donuts on Granville Island, grab a coffee, and eventually track down the Legendary Noodle House — which lives up to every bit of its name. Throughout, Vancouver keeps delivering: mountains in the background, bridges, beaches, and a skyline that gets more impressive the closer you get. Vancouver has a world-class network of separated bike lanes, waterfront trails, and cycling routes — and we only scratched the surface. From the cobblestone streets of historic Gastown to a sunset beside the beach, this is one of the most visually stunning city bike tours we've done. Whether you're into bicycle touring, urban cycling, Vancouver bike routes, or simply exploring a great city without a car — this one's for you. 🚴 Subscribe for more city bike tours and travel vlogs.
