What started as a smooth daytime ride through Sukna forest, Rongtong, and tea garden roads slowly turned into something completely unexpected. Wrong turns, no network, and Google Maps failing led us off route… and soon the ride became more challenging than planned. Narrow roads, steep climbs, sharp turns, and off-road sections — things got intense when one small mistake led to a fall. But the real challenge was still ahead. As the sun started setting, we were still trying to find our homestay. And then came the final stretch — a 500-meter off-road trail through a dark pine forest. No lights. No help. Just us and the road. At one point, I was completely alone in the dark with the bike, not even able to move forward. That moment… is hard to explain. Somehow, we made it through. And just before everything went dark — we witnessed the beautiful Sleeping Buddha (Kanchenjunga) in sunset light. This ride was not just about reaching Sittong… it was about pushing limits. ❤️🏍️ 👉 What’s next?
