In this same city of Chandigarh lived a 35 year old man named Sukhmanpreet Singh Sidhu and a 36 year old woman named Kalyani. Sukhmanpreet was also known as Sippy Sidhu, a national-level shooter and a corporate lawyer. In August 2015, Sippy left for a month-long trip to Canada. He spent a month in Canada, enjoying his vacation, and then returned to India on September 18, 2015. During this time, Sippy’s childhood friend Kalyani came to see him, and the two went out every evening over the next two days. But on the night of September 20, 2015, around 9 PM, Sippy received a call.
