Techniques for Boomerang Design, Part 1: Centre of gravity and rotation.
In this series of videos James De'Ath explains what a boomerang does in flight and how it is affected by the shape of the boomerang profile, it's relative wing length and the carve of the airfoil. Part 1 focuses on how to determine the actual centre of rotation in an asymmetrical shape without having a degree in advanced mathematics, just a variable speed fan, a disc of plywood and a pencil.
