Welcome to another mill adventure! Hello everyone! Things are about to get messy at the Upper Mill today. We're starting a very special kind of "root removal." A large ash tree has taken over an old drainage pipe for decades and has now blown away the historic riverbank wall. For two days, I battled with a chainsaw, pressure washer, and excavator to tame this beast. And as if that weren't enough, my excavator also let me down a couple of times – first the electrical cable, then a burst hydraulic hose.
