Commuting in Barcelona on a Royal Enfield Guerilla 450 / POV mini review

The Guerrilla 450 is a bike that has always interested me. It's a cheap A2 sporty naked bike. In Europe it is priced really competitively against its rivals like the KTM 390 and Triumph 400. It has the makings of a really fun city bike, so when I got the opportunity to ride during my lunch break, I had to give it a go and share my first impressions. First impressions were... meh... it's got potential for sure but it's not quite there yet in my opinion. There are builds out there which fix the issues this bike has from factory and it really shines. Issue no1 is the tyres... it comes on these 50/50 style "nobbly" tyres for a scrambler look but honestly it just doesn't do the chassis justice. Issue no2 is the throttle mapping... These bikes have ride by wire and for some reason the mapping is really soft and lazy. It creates a feeling of disconnect to that potentially punchy 450 motor. Part of it is the Euro5 emissions regulations which really suffocate these small single cylider bikes which is a shame. Final thoughts... it definitely has great potential. I hope with the 2026 or 2027 year models they can address these issues. However that said, the competitors suffer from very similar issues so from that perspective it is not bad at all. 🏍️ Full model name: 2025 Royal Enfield Guerrilla 450 Brava Blue 📹 Camera setup: DJI Osmo Nano 2x DJI mic minis #pov #royalenfield #ride #guerrilla450 #barcelona
