I explored Beijing like a local (summer palace, dog cafe, cat Hutong, boba and final thoughts)

My final impressions of Beijing, China and moving to the next travel destination. In this vlog I visited the summer palace, pet dogs in the dog cafe, walked around Hutong streets and admired 7-Eleven food and mixue boba. The Summer Palace (Chinese: 颐和园, Yiheyuan — "Garden of Harmonious Ease") in Beijing is China's largest and most well-preserved imperial garden. It is a masterpiece of Chinese landscape garden design, spanning approximately 2.9 to 3 square kilometers, three-quarters of which is covered by water. The palace was designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1998. The complex is divided into three main zones: the administration area, Longevity Hill (Wanshou Shan), and Kunming Lake (Kunming Hu). Longevity Hill: Dominated by the Tower of Buddhist Incense (Foxiange), the central icon of the park. Kunming Lake: A massive artificial lake modeled after the West Lake in Hangzhou. The Long Corridor (Changlan): A covered wooden walkway over 700 meters long, decorated with thousands of unique paintings. The Marble Boat (Qingyanfang): A famous 36-meter-long stone pavilion sitting on the water.Seventeen-Arch Bridge: The longest bridge in China's imperial gardens, connecting to South Lake Island. Suzhou Street: A riverside shopping area mimicking the traditional water towns of southern China.
