The titles "Kewe Narine" (The Delicate Partridge) and "Rebene" (The Wretched One) symbolize a soul torn away from its loved ones. Traditionally performed by Kurdish dengbêjs without any written text—driven entirely by raw emotion and improvised vocal ornaments—the original piece captures human sorrow in its purest form. For this rework, I wanted to keep the striking power of the original vocal at the absolute center while weaving it into modern rhythms. By layering epic orchestral arrangements over driving techno grooves, I aimed to give this timeless chant a cinematic, multi-dimensional space.
