Tarot of the Woodland Wardens Deck Review

This is a review of the Woodland Wardens Oracle Deck written and illustrated by Jessica Roux. The deck was published in 2025 by Amber Publishing. This review discusses the deck and accompanying guidebook and goes through the deck card by card. Tarotists can use this review to see if the Woodland Wardens Tarot deck is one that would be of interest for their collection and use. Jessica Roux has a lovely collection of artwork on display on her website: www.jessica-roux.com. She has art prints, coloring books, stationery, and home décor on sale there – definitely worth checking out if you’re into vintage. Roux has also collaborated with Barbara Moore on the tarot deck Good Fortune Tarot published by Llewellyn in 2024. The review for that deck can be found at:    • Good Fortune Tarot Deck Review  . My review for her beautiful oracle deck, Woodland Wardens Oracle, can be found at    • Woodland Wardens Oracle Deck Review   This is a 78-card tarot deck, 22 Major Arcana and 56 Minor Arcana in four suits – Wands, Cups, Arrows, and Pentacles with the court cards page, knight, queen and king. All of the characters on the cards are animals. The cards are 3 1/8 x 5 inches or 80 x 126 mm. An illustrated guidebook is part of the set, 170 pages. Each card definition has an explanatory paragraph, upright and reversed meanings, and some points to ponder. The book also includes some unique spreads for using the cards. I have also posted a video doing a tarot reading with this deck. See    • Woodland Wardens Tarot Reading   to see this deck in action. 0:00 Intro 6:10 The Cards 12:47 Roses and Thorns
