The owner told us it stalls when coming to a complete stop, regardless of whether the engine is at operating temperature or not. Every time you come to a stoplight or speed bump, the scooter stalls, even though it's brand new. Upon inspection, it sounded like a low idle problem, but I suspected something else was wrong. I discovered that one of the two valve lifters was too tight and the carburetor was only turned 1 1/2 turns, which wasn't enough.
