*Broken Crossing* Calle Ricaurte, Alausí, Chimborazo, Ecuador // Railroad Crossing | PaN // 7/26/25

I finally got around to releasing this rare video from my last trip! If you were wondering why it took over a week to get this uploaded, then please find out for me because I also don’t know. Some background about these signals: They appear to have been installed around 2013-2014, and this crossing in particular seems to have been one of the last ones that actually functioned. Unfortunately as you can see, none of them work today since nobody who works for the railroad knows how to maintain them. Something interesting I found at another crossing however was that the power to the relay cases hasn’t been severed, which means that these crossings might still work if turned on manually.
