Stage 7 Visual Description: Stage 7 Description: the patient enters what can't be described as anything else but a "vegetative" state. Any time that is not spent sitting up in bed looking around the room is spent laying down, their maw a-gape, eyes open staring into seemingly nothing, and an empty emotionless look permanently burned into their face. This is often called the "Dementia Face" as most Alzheimer's patients develop this look late into the condition. Moments of clarity are still there, they can be things such as the patient signing their name on a postcard, saying someone's name, simply looking at you as though you seem familiar, or even walking around.
