Forplanet 515
This is the automatic coating line Forplanet 515. It is suitable for coating bulk goods with different organic and inorganic coating materials. It sets new standards in terms of coating quality, ecology, and economy. The bulk goods are placed in the lifting tilting device. The lifting tilting device has a tilting angle of 180 degrees. Only when the final angle is reached the lid opens in order to empty the bulk goods to be coated gently on the hopper conveyor with reduced drop height. An automatic weigh and deduct system ensures consistent basket loads. One batch consists of two baskets. The bulk goods are filled into the baskets and weighed at the same time to make sure both baskets have the identical quantity of bulk goods. The manipulator picks up the baskets and transfers them to the coating unit Forplanet 515. The dip tank is lifted and the baskets with bulk goods are dipped into the coating material. The direction of rotation of the basket’s changes within the coating material to a achieve a very good coating and to coat the bulk goods perfectly. The baskets move back to a vertical position and the spin off process starts. The excess coating material is spun off and fed back into the dip tank. The special feature of the Forplanet 515 is the baskets are now rotated around their own axes while spinning off excess paint at high speed. This results in a relative movement between the bulk goods and the baskets. This means the bulk goods are moving slowly during the spin off process and that all scooping parts can be emptied reliably. The spin speeds and the rotation of the baskets are fully programmable. The manipulator picks up the baskets again and transfers them to the basket tilting station. The coated bulk goods are distributed onto the two parallel wire mesh conveyors. The bulk goods stay for a certain period in the pre-drying zone before they are filled into the trays of the continuous oven. In the continuous oven the bulk goods are cured at a temperature between 200 and 350 degrees Celsius. A transfer unit moves the trays into the cooling zone where they are cooled to a temperature of approximately 20 to 30 degrees Celsius. The coated bulk goods are filled into the containers via the automatic discharging station. In case of multiple coating the bulk goods are filled back into the baskets automatically and run through the process again. A second transfer unit returns the empty trays back into the cycle. • Defined movement of the bulk goods during the spin-off. • Economic and environmental advantages are due to up to 30% less coating material consumption. • Extremely short coating process even with complex parts. • Very small dip tank volume and thus high turn over. • Sets a new reference brand in the coating quality.
