The first of our Hertfordshire Village Walks which begins in the charming and attractive village of Aldbury, situated on the western fringes of the county close to the Buckinghamshire border. Today we walk from Aldbury about three miles to the popular landmark site of Ivinghoe Beacon, which offers spectacular views out ob=ver Buckinghamshire and Bedfordshire. It is also a popular filming location having been used in several of the Harry Potter films and one of the Star Wars films, to name but a few.
