Jordan Pond & Bubble Rock | Jordan Pond House | Jordan Pond South Bubble Trail

We are in Acadia National park doing the Jordan Pond and South Bubble Trail. Along the hike we see Bubble Rock, Eagle Lake, Jordan Pond, the Jordan Pond House and many beautiful view of Acadia National Park. There are a couple ways up to bottle rock. One trail, which we take, that is referred to the Hard trail to bubble rock and then there is the Easy Trail to the Summit of South Bubble and Bubble Rock. We end up hiking this trail as well, to get down off of the mountain. This is an exhilarating hike, that is strenuous at times. Portions of the hike up the hard trail are as difficult as the famous Bee Hive Trail, also located in Acadia National Park. Watching this video will give you an idea of what to expect if you were to hike this trail. If you are not interested in taking on South Bubble and seeing Bubble Rock, but would still like to hike Jordan Pond, then this video covers the loop trail around the pond. Also know as the Jordan Pond Path. This trail has flat easy portions of trial, coupled with about a quarter mile of rock scrambling. Then you will hit over three quarters of a mile of narrow wooden board walks, or bog crossings. It is a unique and varied trail, with plenty of Mountain and Pond views. After the hike, we have lunch at the Jordan Pond House. We will take you through the restaurant, Jordan Pond Gift Shop and show their famous Popovers, and other food offerings at the Jordan Pond Restaurant.
