The Secret Side of ACADIA NATIONAL PARK/ Hiking on the Schoodic Peninsula

We’re exploring a side of Acadia National Park we’ve never seen before…the Schoodic Peninsula! This is a side of Acadia not many people come to since it’s a little off the beaten path which we love. 🌲  We began our time here at Frazer Point Picnic Area where there are a ton of great photo opportunities in the picturesque setting. You can also, you guessed it, have a picnic here and it’s a lovely spot to do so. 🧺  Next, it was time to hike the Sundew Trail which was a very peaceful walk through the woods to a set of cliffs and beachy areas. It was a beautiful day to hang out on the cliffs for a bit and relax. ☀️  Then we headed to do a bit of a more challenging hike, the Schoodic Head Overlook and Anvil Loop Trail.
