From Rovaniemi to Helsinki. By night train, 12 hours, 900 kilometres from the Arctic Circle to the Finnish capital. And the best part is – our car is travelling on the train too! Saying goodbye to Lapland really isn’t easy for us; we’ve had a wonderful time there. And on the day of our departure, it’s snowing more heavily than it has for a long time – how we’d love to stay in this winter wonderland a little longer. But the holiday is drawing to a close, and we have to head back home. At the start of the film, before we drive to Rovaniemi station, you’ll see footage from Syöte, the Korouma waterfall and Santa Claus Village on the Arctic Circle near Rovaniemi.
