Replacing a boat transom from outside of the boat - 1974 StarCraft boat restoration (Episode 12)

In this video, I show how to replace a rotten boat transom from the outside of the boat. Little backstory - The day I found out my transom was rotted, I immediately went to YouTube searching for answers. Unfortunately, almost every video I found showed how to replace a transom from inside the boat. The problem was, with the way my boat was designed, replacing it from the inside simply wasn’t possible. When I realized I was going to have to do this repair from the outside, my heart sank and I felt defeated. With no idea on where to even start, I was mostly afraid I would mess up something causing the boat to sink. I had to use my phone a friend for some guidance, and I honestly couldn’t have gotten a better mentor to help with this job. I now have a solid transom, and gained a lot of knowledge from my friend Joe.
