TRANSOM REPAIR STEP BY STEP!! - Replacing Transom in a Crestliner Aluminum Boat

This video chronicles the step by step replacement of the transom in a 2004 Crestliner 1750 Fishhawk. The original transom was constructed with 3 pieces of 5/8" Marine grade plywood sandwiched together. I decided to replace it with the same material and made sure to waterproof it with a Marine grade Spar varnish. Another option would be to replace the wooden transom with composite Coosa board, although it will make the cost of the project a bit higher, but all the same principles found in this video can be used despite the choice of transom material. *DISCLAIMER* The material and information contained on this channel is for general information purposes only.
