Five Inches Decides a Winner! Dillwyn VA Dragon Motorsports Pull 2026

The Dillwyn Truck & Tractor Pull delivered a tremendous first show at its new location in Buckingham County, Virginia! It was hot on and off the track as the Dragon Motorsports competitors attacked a brand-new surface that was already biting hard. Brian “Lumpy” Allen of Truck Outfitters praised the facility after the event: “The new layout was awesome for pullers and will be even better once the grass grows in.” You could tell pullers had a hand in designing this venue. Thought was put into how competitors entered, staged, approached the track, pulled away after their runs and exited the grounds. The facility worked well for its first event and should only continue to improve. Class Winners 10,000 Super Pro Farm E.L. Harlow and Harlow Harvester recorded the longest run of the entire event with a massive 350.78-foot victory. 11,000 Altered Farm Kenny Baugher and Rippin Red won one of the closest classes of the night, edging Mark Lawson by just five inches with a distance of 326.86 feet. Truck Outfitters 6300 Outlaw Brian Allen backed up his praise of the new facility by driving Pulpwood to a winning distance of 336.78 feet. 8,000 Limited Light Pro Stock Rusty Tanner and the John Deere Second Chance nearly captured the overall distance of the night, charging to an impressive 350.49 feet. 6200 National Sportsman Michael Shifflett and Clear Cut topped the largest class of the event with an 318.67-foot pass. Street Gas Keith Agee controlled the class with a strong winning run of 315.59 feet. From dominant 350-foot passes to a finish decided by inches, Dillwyn’s first event at the new location gave fans and competitors plenty to talk about. The track was strong, the layout was well planned and the future looks bright for truck and tractor pulling in Buckingham County.
