It can take off and land on the spot like a helicopter, while flying long distances like a fixed-wing aircraft. The V-BAT achieves both of these capabilities with a unique single-engine fan. It is currently in use by the U.S. Navy, Marine Corps, and Coast Guard, as well as Ukraine and other allied nations, and was adopted by Japan in 2025. We'll share the development background, performance, current status of adoption in various countries, its operational status in Japan, and its advantages and challenges, along with video footage. Military Channel 2 was created to provide easy-to-understand explanations to people with little knowledge of the U.S. military, helping them deepen their understanding. While there has been some opposition to the explanations, please understand that all videos will continue to include explanations. Our narrator, Anne, is one of our teammates, and we appointed her.
