In an era dominated by jet fighters and stealth bombers, a propeller-driven attack aircraft was newly introduced, specifically for special forces. However, when you open up the Skyraider II, you'll find that it's far from outdated; it's a cutting-edge attack aircraft. And the name Skyraider II was revived as a tribute to the legendary "first-generation Skyraider" from the Vietnam War. This time, we'll explore what the legendary first-generation A-1 Skyraider was, and why propeller aircraft have been revived in the 21st century. We'll also explore its development process, performance, equipment, advantages and disadvantages, and which units will use it for what missions in the future.
